What We Do
: The increasing financial commitment of college beyond the reach of many families led to the formation of HEAI, and the establishment of the following goals and objectives:  Help families understand the college planning, selection, and funding process.Help families derive the most benefit from the financial aid system.Present educational workshops and seminars that educate, motivate and empower
families to be properly prepared for the college experience.Help families avoid overspending out-of pocket for the cost of college to the
detriment of family cash flow and adequate fund accumulation for retirement.Develop and make available, nationwide, information about how to successfully
manage the college planning, selection and funding process.Alert families about how to avoid involvement with college scholarship and financial aid scams.Provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships and low interest loans to worthy students. |

What We Stand For
: Promoting an equal opportunity to become educated and financially independent in America. We support and encourage all efforts to provide Americans with a higher education.We believe that families should not jeopardize their children's opportunities for a higher education because of ignorance and procrastination about the college planning process. We disparage any scam operations that misrepresent the sources available for college scholarships and financial aid.We advocate a comprehensive, proactive planning approach be taken to succeed with the college experience. We believe that our government should provide more honest, easy-to-understand disclosure about the income tax and financial aid pitfalls included in legislation that relates to higher education. |
